Every year during Christmas time 26 best hockey players aged between 16 and 20 in Canada are together to participated at a big championship, the World Junior. This year was in Canada, team Canada tries to win a fifth gold medal in a row. This January 5, 2009, Canada’s players had won against team Sweden. The final mark was 5-1, two goals in an empty net. The game was really good even if the scored was high because all of the time the Sweden’s players keep their energy and they want to try to win until the game is done. This fifth gold medal is also the 15th. This is the second time that this club won five gold medals consecutively. The first time is between 1993 and 1997. I hope that next year they will be win sixth medal and do a record.
I agree with you, the game against the Sweden was good. I saw the game and team Canada was excellent, they played well almost all the game.
